AMT6 Mastering a foreign language and communication

With the pupils from DP 3 (3hours option of vocational discovery), we studied body language, especially the one that could betray us during a traineeship application interview or later a job interview). The students worked in groups and made some research on the Internet to find out information about non verbal body language, the gestures that betray our emotions and feelings, and also the stance that should be adopted in the working world. Then, the pupils pooled the results of their research and practised.

The students realized how important their behaviour, their gestures, their attitude can be.

Being better informed, they gained more confidence and self-esteem.

To share their work and discoveries, they made a poster both in English and French that was displayed in the school hall for everyone to see.
