During the workshop called “The electromagnetic spectrum”, students have learned about the effect of radiation on human body. The activity started with the presentation of the electromagnetic spectrum. In this part there were introduced: the concept of wave, the frequency of a wave and the wavelength. A childish song has helped us to understand better these concepts. Also, the 7 types of radiation were briefly presented. For this reason, 7 teams were formed. Each team had a poster about a particular type of radiation. The posters created contained applications of that type of radiation, suggestive images and the danger of radiation. In the end, each team presentede the poster. In this way, all the students learned about each type of radiation.
