Students found information about two typical products of the area (Padana plain- Northern LombardyItaly) and how they affect their health and weelbeing

They found out properties and nutrients of tomatoes and pumpkins.  They understood the importance of a healthy diet related to a specific geographical area. 

They also proposed local recipes. As part of a common productthey could share the found information with foreign partners and discover different customs and cultures. 

The activity was aimed at: 

 

-Knowing  the agriculture and factory products of the local geographical area
-Being  aware of the effects of a healthy diet on wellbeing. 
 
The students could develop 
-communication skills
-Working in team skills 
-Problem solving
