PT4 Drama Club

Drama club meetings were held for two months and they took three hours a week.  During the meetings we adapted the script, cast actors and rehearsed the play.  Special attention was paid to consistence between the body and the words, as one shouldn’t contradict the others. We watched  video clips in order to find ways enabling the actors to enhance lines with the body language. Understanding the characters helped them relate better to different situations and face various problems. Students were looking closely at each other  trying to develop the sense of responsibility for the common outcome. Together we chose the music score, designed decorations and planned the whole event. The students made their stylized ancient Greek costumes on their own. Everybody felt responsible for the final result and worked hard to show the best performance. We spent a lot of time working together and we did like that as it was often hilarious, unpredictable and turned out a springboard for creativity, thinking out of the box and improvisation.
