PT7 - Theater all together

On October 13ththe students from the National Military High School “ȘtefancelMare” watched the play “Moaracu noroc” (The lucky mill) based upon the novel written by the Romanian author  IoanSlavici.

The theatre from Botoșanicame to our high school and performed, to the delight of our entire student body. 

The story takes place on a bead and breakfast in an isolated place in the woods. There we can see how people interact and behave in different situations, some critical. The play explores human nature and shows the characters struggling with moral dilemmas. It also talks about how bad decisions can force good people to do harm and break the law, after entering a vicious circle of lying.

Students had the opportunity of seeing the consequences of choosing the easy way out and it was a chance to think about moral values and the proper way to conduct ourselves, even when things are difficult.

It also showed students how theatre can transpose life and how verbal and body language can be used to transmit powerful images, emotions and feelings.
